  • The most important thing to do is make sure you are safe. If the accident is severe, call 911 – your safety is the top priority!
  • Keep record of the details of the accident. This includes date, time, location. If another car was involved, take note of their license plate, insurance policy number, and contact information. If there are any witnesses, get their contact information as well. Feel free to take pictures of any damage.
  • Believe it or not, you do not have to immediately contact your insurance agent or carrier company! Once you are safe, you can either directly call your insurance carrier or call us at 617-965-1830 to make the insurance claim. Once the claim is made, an adjuster from the insurance company will be in contact with you moving forward. Of course, you are still welcome to reach out to us if you need any help.
  • If you notice a crack in your windshield, you can either directly call your insurance carrier to make a glass claim or call us at 617-965-1830 and we will set it up for you!
  • Watch these video tutorials to learn how to set up automatic payments or manually make payments online for Mapfre, Travelers, Safety, and The Hartford. For other carriers, follow this video tutorial. Also, you are welcome to call us and provide your payment information, then we can process your payment for you.
  • Most likely, the answer is yes! You can always give us a call or send us an email if you'd like us to take a closer look at your policies. Here's some common discounts we can offer our clients:
  • If you are a personal lines client (AKA not a business), getting a home and auto policy with the same carrier will usually get you a discount on both policies. This is called bundling!
  • Several carriers may provide you a discount for safe driving habits. Learn more about these programs here.
  • If you have an auto policy in MA with Mapfre Insurance, you can donate $50 to the Pan-Mass Challenge for 5% off of your auto policy. Learn how to make that donation here.

  • It is a case by case basis! An Umbrella policy is essentially insurance that provides extra coverage and protection beyond limits from the current insurance policies you already have in place. If you are curious if an umbrella is right for you, just ask us and we can personally advise you!
  • Yes, with most insurance policies it will automatically renew for each term whether it be a 6 month or 12 month long policy. If your insurance policy is on an automatic payment plan, it will continue into the renewal policy.
  • If you are moving to a different state, please let us know beforehand. Most likely, we will still be able to cover you.
  • Simply send us their name, date of birth, and driver's license number, then we can add them to your policy right away.
